Roger Dean Virgin Logo – 1972 UK
The fabulous Roger Dean logo he created for Virgin in its infancy. It was known as “The Twin Virgins”. This one is an unused iron-on decal. In 2002, I spent about 3 hours trying to carefully remove a 5′ wide graphic of the Two Virgins from a wall in the San Francisco Virgin Megastore. It would have been a great piece of Virgin history for this collection, but it proved too difficult and broke up in the process.
