I went to Gramfest in the desert when it was a very small event – about 200 people listening to guys playing Gram songs in coffee shops and the local bar. Lucinda Williams played a set at a local hall but was drunk out of her mind. Some guys were reenacting the burning and handing out these flyers. I remember his daughter Polly taking one. Surreal.
