It was great to meet this legend at a Virgin signing in London for his rather tasty book on the JHE. Sadly he’s no longer with us but he’s left us a lot of great music by which to remember him....

Michael has a past like no-one else. He grew up in the golden age of movies as son of Geraldine Fitzgerald, and allegedly Orson Wells. He moved to the UK and became the director of the pop show, Ready, Steady, Go, where he met every Brit rock star from Jagger to Lennon and all in between....
