Whitesnake – Donington UK 1983
The Monsters of Rock festivals at Donington were just great. At this one, I remember sitting next to a lady who was pissed off because there was nowhere she could plug in her hair straighteners.
I may be wrong but I think that Whitesnake had some kind of military theme going on – anyone? The opening acts were Mr Loaf, ZZ Top, Dio, Diamond Head and Twisted “Fuckin” Sister. Ouch.
